Pros
Why should you choose the Pro X7 golf laser range finder? This model has the ideal set of features that will make any golfer happy. It is the perfect companion on the green.
-
Setup and familiarization was simplified
Setting up and getting familiar with the device was pretty simple, too. Within first 10 minutes of usage you will see yourself exploring around the house already with the Bushnell Pro X7 with the deck shooting everything from buildings to trees off in the distance.
If you’re not used to using a rangefinder, it might take a few minutes for you to fully utilize the device – but as soon as you’re getting a grip of how a rangefinder works, you’ll notice that you’re using it as if you’re just using a set of binoculars. Make sure you have to have your eye positioned just right in the target get a clear view of the picture.
As mentioned previously, operating the Pro X7 is very simple like most rangefinders. You’ll point it at the target, hit a button, and get your reading. The only difference is that this device starts off being a simple gadget, but it guarantees to deliver excellent reading results for you. Read the manual if you want to find out all the great features of this range finder.

Reading results are excellently accurate
You’ll hit the button once to turn it on, then hold it down to get a fast reading from the pin, and then hit the button once more if you just wanted to get the distance from your target to another object. It can find a flag up to 550 yards away and other reflective objects up to 1,760 yards away. It’s amazingly fast, extremely accurate, and surprisingly easy to use for a professionally designed rangefinder.

JOLT and Slope Technologies are never forgotten
If there is a common thing about Bushnell’s rangefinders, it’s undoubtedly the JOLT technology that they always include on their product releases. The JOLT is specifically designed to give a burst of vibration once it’s locked on the target flag, ensuring users that they will target it accurately and most Bushnell users find the feature very helpful especially if they’re on far distances.
Another feature to note is the Slope, which uses a built in accelerometer to measure the degree of elevation change between the user and the pin. It also gives you a degree change and another “play as” number aside from the actual yardage. With this feature, it clearly justifies the additional $100 charge as it delivers accurate measurement performance.

The included carrying case is well-built and durable
Users will notice that the Laser Rangefinder Pro X7 comes with a beefy carrying case upon purchase. The carrying case alone is already impressive for being well made and durable, but its awesomeness doesn’t stop there – they also added an elastic hook and eye for the user to have an easier access when you’re on the actual game course.
Cons
There are only three possible downsides of the Laser Rangefinder as proven by users themselves.
The size may take up a bit of space in your golf bag. Your golf gear is already loaded that by placing this device in your golf bag, you may have to sacrifice a few items just to fit it in. However, if you wanted to carry your device by hand, the size of the Laser Rangefinder shouldn’t be an issue.
The price may seem to be expensive. Bushnell’s latest model is priced at $499 and $599 with the Slope included. The pricing is considered to be expensive already that with the said value, you can already purchase a new high-end driver.
Why the Slope is made an optional purchase? Buyers have an option to purchase the Laser Rangefinder without the Slope for the price of $499. Like what is mentioned in the pros section, Bushnell’s well-known JOLT and Slope technologies are never forgotten in their rangefinder models.
However, it now comes to a question on why potential customers now have to pay an extra $100 just to have the Slope included in the purchase, with the actual device already considered expensive for its pricing? Is there still a possibility that the Slope will be included in the basic purchase for their next release? That would be very helpful for most players who are patrons of Bushnell rangefinders.
